Dennis Dean Collison

Dennis Dean Collison, 51, of Moscow died Friday May 11, 2011 at his home of complications from kidney failure. Per his wishes he was cremated with a memorial service being held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 4 p.m. at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. The son of Ronald and Joyce Zahner Collison he was born December 17, 1960 in Davenport, Iowa. He married his high school sweetheart, Connie Hostler on June 3, 2006 in Rochester. He worked for Sulzberger Excavating in Muscatine for 9 ½ years. He loved his job, and he loved to be outside doing things and being in his shop. Dennis is survived his wife loving wife, Connie Collison of Moscow, Iowa; his son, Leahton Collison of Lahoma, Oklahoma; 2 granddaughters, Meleah and Ady Collison of Lahoma, Oklahoma; step children, Justin (Alesha) Marchik of Tipton, Iowa, Tracy (Sean) Wright of Bennett, Iowa, Kyle (Jessica) Marchik of Solon, Iowa; Mike Marchik of Tipton, Iowa; step-grandchildren, Brody and Colton, Marchik, Evan, Sawyer and Nataleigh Wright and Kiley Marchik; his in-laws, Larry and Wylene Hostler of Tipton, Iowa; his mother, Joyce (Terry) Phillips of Muscatine, Iowa; and brother-in-law, Jim (Vera) Hostler of Sedona, Arizo...[more]

a. He will be missed by his 2 Bassett Hounds, Pee Wee and Butthead. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Collison; his older sister, Dixie; and both of his grandparents. Dennis was a dedicated husband, father and stepfather. He always had a helping hand for anyone who needed it. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his memory.
