Beverly A. Tweed MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Beverly Agnes Tweed, 75, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Burial will be in Columbus City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Beverly's name. Beverly was born on February 23, 1937, in Oakville, the daughter of William and Netty Virginia Marlette Hayes. On November 25, 1978, Beverly was united in marriage to Norman Tweed in Wapello. Beverly enjoyed gardening, cooking, collecting dolls, but most of all she loved raising her children and spending time with her family. Beverly will be deeply missed by her husband, Norman Tweed of Muscatine; her children, Bridgette Williams of Redding, California, Susan Houtz of Ainsworth, Dennis Allen Houtz of King City, California, Michael Houtz, Mark Houtz and Scott Houtz, all of Muscatine; her step-daughter, Cindy Kuhn of Indianapolis, Indiana; four grandchildren, Brandon, Brian, Mark Jr. an...[more]
