Donald R. Watts, 76, of Story City, died Friday, May 25, 2012 at Bethany Life Communities at Story City. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster Chapel, with Chaplain Sandy Anenson officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center one hour before the service. Donald Ruben Watts, son of William and Ethel Stroup Watts, was born October 4, 1935 at Cresco, Iowa. He received his education in the Cresco Public School. On January 11, 1960, he married Madeline Audrey Farr at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. The couple resided at Waterloo. For 17 years, he was employed in a cattle and turkey operation for Hubert and Paul Hill. The couple later divorced. On December 13, 1980, he married Kay Harvey at Manchester, Iowa. He had also worked at Trumps I - 35 and the Oak Café in Iowa Falls. He had resided at Bethany Life Communities since July 22, 2008.
