Carl Frank Tesch, 90, Green Bay, passed away peacefully Monday, May 28, 2012 surrounded by his children. He was born September 16, 1921 to late Frank and Alvina (Krolow) Tesch on September 16, 1921 in Ogema. Carl served his country in the U.S. Army in the Philippines during World War II and was a recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He spent two years recovering at Percy Jones Hospital, Missouri. On September 13, 1948, he married the former Joyce Martello. Carl was a guard at North West Engineering and a member of the Sullivan Wallen Post #11, VFW. His greatest love was his family and he also enjoyed camping. He is survived by one son, James (Mary) Tesch, Green Bay; two daughters, Linda (Patrick) Catlin, Green Bay and Nancy (John) Bowers, Green Bay. He is further survived by one brother, Steve (Esther), Washington and sister, Dorothy Kilgor, Madison, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer, Clarence and Raymond and four sisters, Viola, Alvina, Anne and Marie. reen Bay where the funeral service will take place at 11:00 am with Pastor Jack Hudson officiating. Burial will be Woodlawn Cemetery with Military Honors to follow. A memorial has been established for Disabled Veterans of America. The family would like to thank Manor Care East and Unity Hospice for their care and concern during this difficult time.
