Gerald "Jerry" R. Lemke

Gerald "Jerry" Richard Lemke, 70, Wausaukee, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2012. He was born on August 12, 1941 in Shirley, Wisconsin to the late Raymond and Dorothy (Jensen) Lemke. Jerry attended Immanuel Lutheran Grade School and graduated from East De Pere High School. After High School he served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years. Jerry married Judith M. Olson of Shawano in 1965 and they had two children, Jodi Kay Brice and Amy Jo Skenandore. Jerry was employed with Procter & Gamble for 30 years as a millwright and retired in 1996. He was the co-director of the MGM Cribbage tournament in Green Bay for 25 years. In Jerry's free time, he enjoyed golfing, supporting the grandchildren play sports, hunting, fishing, playing cribbage and spending time wintering in Florida. He was an active member of America Legion Wausaukee Post #66. Jerry also liked to bowl, make booyah and go out for a Friday night fish fry. lenn (Yvonne) Lemke; brother-in-law, Bill Olson and Jerry Kauth; a sister-in-law, Ann Cvikel; many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Jerry was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Dan Olson. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 1:00 pm until the funeral service at 3:00 pm with Pastor Gene Wickman officiating. Military honors will follow. Interment will be at Nicolet Memorial Gardens. A memorial fund has been established in Jerry's name.
