Mona A. Anderson

Mona Audrey Heston was born March 12, 1931 near Lucas, Iowa to Clell and Mary (Caviness) Heston. Mona attended a rural country school. She was married to Violas Anderson on February 3, 1973. They spent 39 years by each other's side. Mona was a special, kind, and loving person. She loved her family and was always there for them. She was hardworking and enjoyed working in her home making things nice. Mona loved to fish, go dancing, and tend to her flowers. She loved animals, taking in strays and caring for their young ones. Mona passed away Friday, June 8, 2012. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Violas; children: David (Shirley) Miller of Chariton and Carol Ann (Andy) Zanders of Chariton; 4 grandchildren: Angela (Tim) Pollard, Carmen Miller, Chris Parrish, and Lisa Parrish; and a great granddaughter, Kelsey Hickman. Also surviving are a sister, Ruby Blanchard and sister-in-law, Merna Heston; along with many relatives and friends. [more]
