Doris Seis

Doris Seis, of Antigo, died Friday, June 15, 2012 at home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 85 years old. She was born on July 28, 1926 in Eland, a daughter of John and Christine (Henningson) Roubal. She married Eugene Seis on July 5, 1947 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Antigo. He survives. Early in her marriage she worked as a waitress in the Antigo area. The majority of her life was dedicated to raising her children and enjoying time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Seis will long be remembered for making great chicken dumpling soup, having a home that welcomed the neighbor kids and her children's friends and the love she gave to pets. She loved time at the lake, swimming, working in the yard and going to garage sales. She will be remembered for her kindness, caring and great sense of humor. Mrs. Seis was a member of the locomotive firemans's union auxillary and Royal Neighbors of America. ten grandchildren Jeff (Deb) Seis, Kim (Mike) Benes, Scott (Pam) Stewert, Don and Mat Seis, Kyle, Demeri and Nick Seis, Trent Walter, Neil (Holly) Anderson; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister Elaine Loos, Wausau; a sister-in-law Esther Seis, Antigo and family friend Peter Harm. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Donald in infancy, and a sister Vi Corral. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Monday at the Bradley Funeral Home and from 9-10 a.m. on Tuesday also at the funeral home. The Knight of Columbus will recite the rosary at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
