Mary Ann Borko, 82, Green Bay, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2012. She was born on February 8, 1930 in Manistique, Michigan to the late Joseph and Eunice New. She married Steven Borko on May 14, 1960 at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church in Manistique, Michigan. Mary Ann enjoyed playing bingo, bridge and golfing. She and Steven liked to travel. She also enjoyed music theatre and playing the piano. May Ann was a member of the Mary Guild at St. Mary's Hospital and a member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church. Surviving are her loving husband, Steven; a son, Tom (Linda) Borko of Oconto; a daughter, Ann (Bryan) Denissen of Howard; a granddaughter, Rachel Ann and friend, Joseph Norman; a sister, Joan Giordano of Detroit, Michigan. Mary Ann is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, James New and three sisters, Kathleen New, Helene Braun and Gertrude Fabry. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. il the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with Rev. John H. Harper officiating. Inurnment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Manistique, Michigan. A memorial fund has been established in Mary Ann's name. A special thank you to the staffs of BayCare Eye Clinic and San Luis for their compassionate care of Mary Ann.
