Robert Finley MUSCATINE, Iowa --Robert E. Finley, 77, of Letts, died on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at his home. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the Fruitland Baptist Church. Burial will take place in Island Cemetery with military rites by the V.F.W. Post 1565. Following the interment a time of food and fellowship will be held at the church. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2012, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Memorials: Directed to the Fruitland Baptist Church in Robert's name. Robert Edward Finley was born on March 5, 1935 in Muscatine, the son of Robert C. and Audrene L. Tisor Finley. Robert had proudly served his country in the U. S. Army from 1954-1956. On July 22, 1956, he was united in marriage to Patsy J. Hunt in Muscatine. Robert attended Fruitland Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting and being outdoors.
