Tomi J. Smith

Age 68 of Forest Lake and formerly of St. Paul, passed away July 8, 2012 following an eight and a half year battle with Ovarian Cancer. Tomi is preceded in death by parents, Russell and Ruth LaChapelle and one sister, Judy LaChapelle. Tomi will be deeply missed by her husband of 48 years, Larry; daughters, Nancy (Tim) Ryan, Stacy (Tim) Blakely, and Stephanie (Shaughn) Osterkamp; 8 grandchildren, Sarah Neuser, Garrett Ryan, Andrew Neuser, David Neuser, Mitchel Ryan, Steven Bendeich, Connor Osterkamp and Maxwell Osterkamp; sisters, Sharyn Polta, Vicki (Bill) Ackerman, and Kim (Reid) Durant; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. To honor Tomi, a gathering of family and friends will be held 4-8 PM Wednesday, July 11, 2012 in Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Dr. SW, Forest Lake.
