Eunice Mae Owens

Eunice Mae Owens, age 87, of Franklin, OH passed away Saturday July 7, 2012 at the home of her daughter Melissa. Eunice was born in Olympia, KY on August 5, 1924 to Tom and Edna (Short) Ingram. She loved to work in her vegetable and flower gardens, was involved in Boy and Girl Scouts and was a member of the Pennyroyal Baptist Church and served in Vacation Bible School. Eunice was formerly employed by General Motors, World Book Encyclopedia, and the Warren County Board of Elections. She was preceded in death by her parents, great grandson Brandon K. Johnson, great-great granddaughter Addison Johnson Ruh, sister Wilma Napier, brothers Edmond Ingram, Clarence Ingram, and George Ingram. Eunice is survived by 7 children Shirley (Owens) Hitte of Franklin, Hans and Linda (Owens) Larsen of Dallas, TX, Wilbur and Lynda Owens of Speedwell, TN, Clifton Jr. and Judie Owens of Germantown, Tim Owens of Franklin, Marshall and Sheri Owens of Franklin, Tom and Melissa (Owens) Ryan of Franklin; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters Eva Eades, Rose Profitt, and Myrtle Adams. The Owens family will be the first family to use the Life Celebration Center. The land that it was built on was the former Owens Family Farm directly behind Anderson Funeral Home.
