Gloria R. Pangratz

Gloria Rita Pangratz, 84, long time resident of Ft. Lauderdale, passed away on July 21, 2012. A true 'New Englander', she was born and raised in Somerville, Massachusetts and was the youngest of 8 children. Gloria was a 'stewardess' with Northeast Airlines for 7 years before marrying the love of her life, Konrad Karl Pangratz, in 1960. She was a charter member of The Stewardess Alumni Association, and participated in their many social and fundraising events. Gloria was also an active member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, a place very close to her heart. She was a year round member of Lago Mar Beach Club, where many mornings you could find her doing her 'exercises' in the pool. Gloria is predeceased by her son, Karl Konrad Pangratz. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Konrad, daughter, Jane Marie (Chuck) Smith, two granddaughters, Megan Karleigh Smith and Emily Lauren Smith, whom she adored with all her heart, and many nieces and nephews.
