Lettie L. (Ammons) Bennett, 91, of Oakland Park, Florida, Co-Founder of Bennett Auto Supply, Inc. passed away on August 3, 2012 at Holy Cross Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Allen Bennett. Devoted mother of Harold (Suzy) and Barry Bennett. Preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Adrienne Bennett. Loving grandmother of Scott (Gayle) Bennett, Jennifer (Tadd) Clukey, Justin (Helen) Bennett, Katie Bennett, Denise Doxzon, Tyler Reeves and Chase Knox. Great-grandmother of Brooke, Brandon, Taylor, Matthew, Travis and T.L.. Also great-great-grandson Matthew Bennett and several nieces and nephews. Viewing will be on Monday, August 6th from 6:00 ~ 9:00 P.M. at Fred Hunter's Downtown Fort Lauderdale Funeral Home (718 South Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale). Funeral Service on Tuesday, August 7th at the First Baptist Church of Oakland Park (801 NE 34th Ct Oakland Park). Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will follow at Lauderdale Memorial Park.
