ter's Folk Choir and the Saukville American Legion. Russ had a passion for business, was extremely analytical and was an excellent teacher and listener. He loved the outdoors, especially northern Wisconsin where he enjoyed many vacations with his family. Russ loved to play the guitar and sing. Every year Russ looked forward to hunting season and the holidays, especially Thanksgiving in Phillips, WI. Russ is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Shirley; his son Bryan (Brenda) and their children, Jennifer and Brooke; his daughters, Erica Schultz (Bill) and their children Morgan, Spencer and Trevin and Valerie Biever (Peter Paschke) and her daughter Paige and Paige's father, Doug Biever. His sisters Jo Ann (Robert) Eckhardt and Marly Lund and his brother Bill Lund. He is further survived by his in-laws Pat Blaker, Carol & Bob Trampf, Sally & Ken Denzine and Marc & Rob Jamo as well as many nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Russ very much and the supportive and loving family of Tammy, Ryan, Zack, & Zoe. He was preceded in death by his parents, his father and mother-in-law, Peter and Elsie Pisca, his sister-in-law, Shirley Lund, his brother-in-law, Bill Blaker, his niece, LeAnn Eckhardt, and great niece, Rachel Bonzo. The family will greet visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington on Tuesday, August 7th from 3-7:30PM, followed by military honors and a brief prayer service. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 8th at St. Peter's of Alcantara Catholic Church, 1800 N. Wisconsin St., Port Washington, with a brief visitation from 10-10:30 AM. Father Patrick Wendt will preside. Inurnment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Phillips, WI. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
