William "Bill" Simpson

William "Bill" Dennis Simpson was born on August 30, 1945, in Worthington, Minnesota to William and Donna (Brown) Simpson. He received his education from Worthington High School where he graduated in the Class of 1963. After high school, Bill enlisted in the United States Navy. Following the Navy, Bill attended Minnesota West Technical College. Bill was united in marriage to Cheryl Eggeleston in Worthington in 1970. This marriage was later dissolved. Bill worked various jobs throughout the years, but most recently worked for Gordy's Sunshine Grocery Store in Windom. Bill passed away unexpectedly on Monday evening, August 13, 2012 at the Windom Area Hospital at the age of 66. Bill enjoyed music and reading. Bill loved to socialize and was always open to adventure. He is survived by one daughter, Stacey Simpson of Albuquerque, NM; one sister, Maren Windom of Rosemount; three brothers, Donald Simpson of Santa Anna, CA; Terry Simpson of Westminster, CA; and Thomas Simpson of Santa Anna, CA; several nieces and nephews and friends.
