Mike Martin Jr. SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Nebraska--Mike Martin Jr., 70, of South Sioux City, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, in Milan, Missouri. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2012, with military rites following the service, at the Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Rev. Roger Madden will be officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2012, at the funeral home. Mike was born on August 7, 1942, in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Viola Creamer and Mike Martin Sr. He grew up in Muscatine and graduated from Muscatine High School. He sold insurance briefly before he entered the Army during the Vietnam War. He started driving a truck at a very early age. Mike moved to South Sioux City in the early 80's. For the last several years he drove a truck for Bill Rohde in Homer, Nebraska. He married Margaret Goreham on December 18, 1991, in Elk Point, South Dakota. He was a member of the South Sioux City American Legion Post #307. Mike was a very free spirit. He loved everyone and never met a stranger. He loved trucking, his cats, and the Chicago Cubs.
