Leonard S Severson

Leonard S. Severson, 82, of Webster City, died Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Hamilton Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. Mike Kroona officiating. Burial will be prior to the memorial service in the Washington Lutheran Cemetery, south of Duncombe. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Leonard Sherlock Severson, son of Jacob and Ester Anderson Severson, was born April 30, 1927 at Webster City, Iowa He received his education from the Webster City schools. On Sept. 26. 1948, he married Audrey Fredricks at the Duncombe Lutheran Church. He farmed northwest of Webster City for many years. He retired in 1994 but continued to help in the family farming operation. Mrs. Severson died November 19, 2002.
