Audrey June Lindner

Audrey June Lindner, 81, of Fort Dodge passed away on Monday March 26, 2012. The visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday March 29, 2012 at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Following the visitation Audrey will be cremated. The memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel with Pastor Allen Henderson officiating. Audrey was born in Hampton, IA on June 23, 1930 to Alfred and Ella Mae (Richardson) Windelow. She grew up in the Duncombe area and then graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. In 1949 she married Eldon Showers. She worked for Friendship Haven for many years. She later married Orville Lindner in 1976 at St. Paul Lutheran Church where she has been a long time member. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers, bird watching, antique shopping and loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved traveling to the mountains in Colorado and Montana. She also enjoyed visiting Branson Missouri and Texas.
