Steven Hedman MOLINE, Illinois--Steven B. Hedman, 60, of Moline, passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012, at his home. Graveside Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2012, at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery, Muscatine. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2012, at the DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Steven was born on December 18, 1951, in Davenport, the son of Harold & Vivian Bideaux Hedman. He married Deborah E. Hartman on June 3, 1973, in Davenport. Steven was employed as a Dockman & Switchman at Roadway, Rock Island for 28 years, retiring in 2005. In his earlier years, he had worked at the Davenport YMCA and Gate City Steel. He enjoyed all sports and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. Steve was a devoted father, husband, son and grandfather; the love of his family. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Hedman of Moline; a daughter, Mishelle Hedman of Rock Island; a son, Eric Hedman of Moline; a grandson, Travis Hedman; his mother, Vivian Schmedeman of Desert Hot Springs, California; and uncle, Russell Hedman, Wash.
