William J. "Billy" Croce, 42, of Maquoketa, Iowa, died on Wednesday morning, September 12, 2012, at the Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa. A funeral mass celebrating "Billy's" life will be held at 10 A.M., Monday, September 17, 2012, from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Maquoketa. Visitation will be held from 11 to 3 P.M. on Sunday, September 16, 2012, from the Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Maquoketa, Iowa. William John Croce was born on August 14, 1970 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Billy Earl and Darlis Kay (Kilburg) Croce. He was a 1989 graduate of Maquoketa Community High School. "Billy" had worked at Pizza Hut in Maquoketa for several years and then at Web Printing in Maquoketa as a courier. "Billy" was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Maquoketa. He also was a member of the Cystinosis Research Foundation, Cystinosis Foundation and the Midwest Cystinosis Group. He enjoyed bowling, and fishing "up at the cabin". He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his mother, Darlis Kay Croce on February 23, 2011, and his brother, Keith Croce on April 12, 2005.
