Henry Lee Hensley, age 85, of Franklin, OH; went to be with the Lord on Thursday September 13, 2012 at Hospice of Butler/Warren Counties. Henry was born in Hazard, KY on July 19, 1927 to Bill and Easter (Lamar) Hensley. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army and retired from Atlas Roofing. He was a charter member of Healing Word Church and served in many capacities through the years. Henry was preceded in death by his first wife Opal Hensley, his son Rev. David Hensley and his wife Sandy, 2 grandchildren Alisha and Brian, his sister Faye Gaylor. He is survived by his wife Rachel Hensley; a daughter Marilyn Lawson and husband Irv; 3 grandchildren Chris, and wife Amanda, Mike and wife Christa, and Tom and wife Corinne, 6 great grandchildren; a brother Gene Walden; and a sister Billie McCullah; a step daughter Freda Lewis and husband Gary; 2 step granddaughters Sierra Wells and Rachel Wells. Funeral services are Monday September 17, 2012 at 2pm at Healing Word Church with Rev. Don Shepherd and Rev. Roger Mullins officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery with full military honors.
