Betty Hersant

Betty A Hersant, of Antigo, died Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Langlade Hospital. She was 75 years old. She was born on June 9, 1937 in Antigo, a daughter of Leo and Margaret (Price) Cahak. She married David Hersant on August 17, 1957 at Church of Gesu in Milwaukee. He survives. She worked at several dental offices in Milwaukee and was an office manager for a beauty salon in Cudahy. Mrs. Hersant returned to Antigo in 1996 and worked at Rainbow Laundry and Drycleaning. Survivors including her husband are a son Steve (Cindy) Hersant, Cudahy; a daughter Lisa (Mark) Eckstein, Waukesha; four grandchildren Carmen, Alexa, Steve and Kaleigh; three sisters Marion Nowe, Milwaukee, Sue (Gordon "Dave") Hitz, Antigo, Linda Lange, Antigo; four brothers Jerome (Mary Ellen) Cahak, Waterford, Lawrence (Carol) Cahak, Antigo, Terrence (Jeanne) Cahak, Antigo, Douglas (Jan) Cahak, Birnamwood; a sister-in-law Sandy Cahak, Antigo. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Eunice Antoniewicz, and Mary Cahak, three brothers, Ronald, Donald and Charles Cahak.
