Susan H. Weston

Susan H. Weston, 74, died peacefully on October 21, 2012 at Agrace HospiceCare in Madison. Sue was born in Chicago on August 12, 1938 to Raymond and Betty Hazekamp. She was graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1960, and married Dr. Carl B. Weston of Madison the same year. Sue and Carl had three daughters, and one son, Carl, who passed away in 1992. Sue was involved in several Madison organizations including Attic Angels, Delta Gamma, and P.E.O. After raising her children, Sue brought her incomparable creativity and style to the Doncaster, Carlisle and Worth companies, inspiring many women across the country. Sue was a devoted friend, an accomplished gardener and an animal lover. A perfect day usually started with a long, brisk walk with her standard poodle Phineas, often accompanied by a close friend. Sue's warm smile, hearty laugh and unique ability to captivate those around her will be greatly missed by her husband, Carl, and their children and grandchildren: Holly W.
