Wanda Jean Clark, age 59, of Hamilton, died on Friday, November 2, 2012 at her residence under the care of Quality Home Health Care of Knoxville and friend Shelia VanVeen. She was born on October 26, 1953 to Irma Clark Smool.
She graduated from Newton High School, class of 1974. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Hamilton. Wanda loved animals, especially her dog Fritz. She took care of her mother for many years. She enjoyed cooking, bird watching, puzzle books, watching soap operas and reality television.
She is survived by her step cousins, Ray Bayles of Newton, Connie (J.R.) Wilcox of Newton, Gary Smool of Newton; close friends, Shelia (Ron) VanVeen, Genny Krichau, and Sara Lang. She is preceded in death by her mother, Irma, and step-father John Smool.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, November 5, 2012 at Sinnott Pierchbacher Funeral Home in Lovilia with Pastor Dale Schoening officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Monday at 11:00 am and will be open until service time at 1:00 pm at the funeral home in Lovilia.
