William H. Fritz

William H. Fritz, 91, of Pembroke Pines passed away November 5, 2012. Born July 7, 1921, in Chicago, Illinois, he was a resident of south Florida for over 65 years. William served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion and of the DAV. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Gladys; daughter, Diane Rutledge; grandchildren, Julie Keegan, Stephen Rutledge, Rick Andrews, Michael Andrews and Cheryl Leswing; and eight great-grandchildren. William was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Andrews; grandson, Tim Rutledge; one brother and one sister. The graveside service with Military Honors is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Hollywood Memorial Gardens, 6301 Taft Street. [more]
