Kimberly K. Barnett

Kimbely Kay Barnett was born March 1, 1969, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas Neil and Alice Marie (Stites) Barnett. At a young age she moved with her family to Urbandale, Iowa, where she attended school and graduated from Urbandale High School. Kimberly moved to LuVerne in 1992, where she has lived ever since. She was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family and especially taking care of and spending time with her grandchildren. Kimberly also enjoyed cooking and singing. Kimberly died Sunday, November 11, 2012, at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. She was 43. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ryon and Miranda Barnett of LuVerne; Taylor and TJ Elvington both of LuVerne; step-children, Shane Elvington of Iowa City; Shanann Johansen of Clarion; fiancé, Derek Householder of LuVerne; grandchildren, Kylie and Jordann Barnett and step-granddaughter, Madelynn Ammerman.
