John Joseph Kowalchick, 66, passed away on Tuesday November 13, 2012 from complications of pneumonia and liver and kidney failure.
John is survived by his two daughters, Tara Jean Rivera, 39, and Julie Marie Kowalchick, 30, three grandchildren, Aidan Mark Christie, 9, his twin grandchildren Ryan and Rebecca Rivera, 1, as well as his sister, Helen Kremski, his nephew Frankie and niece Stephanie, and many other relatives and friends.
John was born on February 19, 1946 in Passaic, New Jersey to John and Stepha Kowalchick. He grew up in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Penn State University with an engineering degree and acquired an MBA from Nova University. He was an avid Nittany Lion football fan as well as a huge fan of golf and nascar. He recently retired from his engineering career where he worked in various nuclear and power plants throughout the country and abroad. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his friends
He was greatly loved by family and friends and will be missed.
