MARK TANDY MONTPELIER, Iowa - Mark Clifford Tandy, 42, of Montpelier, died on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, after many years of a courageous battle with diabetes and its' many complications. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Sharon Phillips of Jesus Mission will officiate. Casket bearers will be Jon Toyne, Seth Burdick, Jordan Hill, T. L. Burdick, Charlie Ford, and Jeremy Houseman. Burial will take place in Montpelier Cemetery. A time of food and fellowship will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Moose Lodge. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the family in care of Paula Gillespie. Mark was born on August 22, 1970, in Davenport, the son of Paul and Inez Queen Tandy. You all made it bearable and even pleasant at times for him. They would also like to mention his special friends, Charlie and Sharon Ford.
