Myron T. Pearson MUSCATINE, Iowa--Myron Thomas Pearson, 73, of Muscatine passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at Lutheran Homes. Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2012, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Pastor Dan Schoepf will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:30 until 7 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2012, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department (RCFD), PO Box 2, Bellvue, CO 80312. Myron was born on December 29, 1938, in Pueblo, Colorado, the son of Walter T. and Mabel Anderson Pearson. On August 1, 1959, Myron was united in marriage to Judith Lockwood in Denver, Colorado. He had received his Bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and one Master's degree from CSU and one Master's degree from Brown University in Rhode Island and worked toward a PhD at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D. Myron was on the All American Academic Team for Colorado State. Myron had worked as a high school science teacher for many years. Myron will be deeply missed by his wife, Judie Pearson of Muscatine; three sons, Eric Pearson and wife, Deidre, of Muscatine, Keith Pearson and wife, Jennifer, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Christopher Pearson and wife, Christina, of Thornton, Colorado; six grandchildren, Emily Hetzler and husband, Jake, Derek Pearson, Dalend Pearson, Mary Pearson, Matthew Pearson and Genevieve Pearson; one sister, Anna Lou Lee and husband, Dr. H. A. Lee, of Portland, Oregon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
