She is survived by two sons: Thomas Michael Ford, of Bloomington, IN and Eric Phillip Ford, of Atlanta, GA; sister, Mary Patricia Garland, of Pembroke Pines, FL; grandchildren, Mudiwa, Noni, and Gyasi Ford, of Bloomington, IN and Phillip and Yazmyn Ford, of Hollywood, FL; nieces, Karen Toler of Atlanta, GA, Luann Johnson (Allen) of McKeesport, PA, Robyn McDaniels of Waldorf, MD, Paula Ruffin of Piscataway, NJ, and Kamari Garland of Finleyville, PA; nephews, Tracy Ruffin of Newark, NJ, Donald Spires (Verna) of San Diego, CA and David Spires of Canfield, OH; great-nieces, Soroiya Tillman, of Pittsburgh, PA, Melissa and Heather Johnson, of McKeesport, PA; great-nephews, Robert Garland, of Finleyville, PA, Kenyon McDaniels (Mia), of Smyrna, GA, Franklin Blair, of Douglasville, GA, Jordan Johnson of McKeesport, GA and Todd Ruffin; sister-in-law, Beatrice Ford of Wheatland, PA. iam Henry Garland and sister, Katherine Pauline McDaniels Ruffin. Louise was born in Finleyville, Pennsylvania where she graduated from Monongahela High School. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at First Baptist Church in Finleyville. She married the late Thomas Miller Ford in 1954 and moved to Montclair, New Jersey and provided a loving and caring home for her family. She became a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Montclair where she was a loyal member and held many offices. Later in life she attended Montclair State University and graduated with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education in 1985. She was the Director of the Frog Hollow Day Center, was on the Board of Trustees at the Day Nurseries of Montclair and served on the Board of Education for Montclair Public Schools. After 50 years she moved to Pembroke Pines, Florida and joined Faith Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed working with the Women of Faith Presbyterian Group and the Secret Sister Group. Her pleasant smile and warm personality will be missed by all.
