Dateline: Bussey Jack Marvin Noah, age 82, of Bussey died on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Mercy Johnston Hospice Facility. He was born on October 31, 1930 in Racine, WI and adopted by James Lessus and Marie Louise (Ketchum) Noah in Des Moines. Jack enlisted with the United States Air Force Post World War II Berlin Airlift. He received his Bachelors and Masters Degree in Education from Drake University. He married Bonnie VanderLinden on February 10, 1957 at the Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Des Moines. Jack and Bonnie lived in Des Moines, and he taught Art, Art History, and Photography in Johnston for twenty-three years until his retirement in 1986. After retirement they moved to Bussey. Bonnie died on April 12, 2002. He later married Lois Harmon and they moved to Arkansas where they were members of an Art Club and Art Gallery. Lois died on November 25, 2010. He enjoyed painting, watercolors, and traveling. ived by eight step children, and numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his two wives, Bonnie and Lois. Visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2012 opening to the public at 1:00 pm and family will be present from 6-8 pm Friday evening at Sinnott Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lovilia. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Sinnott Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lovilia. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery near Bussey. Following the burial the family would like to invite everyone to Jack's home, 2401 Story St., Bussey, Iowa 50044 for refreshments. "I've lived a good long life. I regret nothing.
