Robert Subbert

Robert Subbert, 82, of Fort Dodge, died Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge. Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at North Lawn Cemetery in Fort Dodge. The Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements. Robert Lavern Subbert, the son of August and Frieda (Rohrbeck) Subbert, was born October 14, 1930 in Carroll, Iowa. Robert grew up in Scranton, Iowa and graduated from Scranton High School. After his marriage to Gayla Odgard, they made their home in Fort Dodge. The couple later divorced. Robert worked for Land O'Lakes, Felco where he retired from. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Stacy andCasey Dencklau of Granger, IA and four grandchildren, Hailee, McKenna, Bo, and Kaidyn; three brothers, Norman, Lyle, and Gene. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sons, David and Jeffery. He is also preceded in death by his other two brothers and three sisters, Sally, Bea, Leland, Donnie, and Betty.[more]
