Eugene Donald Bradley

Eugene D. "Don" Bradley Eugene "Don" Bradley, age 80 years of West Bend, formerly of Port Washington, died unexpectedly at his residence Tuesday, December 11, 2012. He was born January 16, 1932 in Cedarburg, son of the late Lawrence and Miranda Norman Bradley. Don was a 1950 graduate of Port Washington High School and served for four years in the US Navy during the Korean conflict. On June 20, 1953, he married Helen Schmidt in Philadelphia. He worked as a pressman for the Port Washington Pilot and Ozaukee Guide newspapers before starting his own printing business. After closing the printing business, he went to work as an agent for Prudential Life Insurance Company, retiring after 16 years. Don was a member of the Saukville American Legion and VFW Post 5373. Survivors include his wife Helen, four children Gene (Deborah) of Saukville, Helen (John) Reiter of West Bend, Tom (Terri) of Oostburg and Timothy of Chicago, six grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, his brother Lawrence (Sandy) Bradley of Appleton and his sister Patricia (the late Fred) Miller of Plover. ecember 15, 11:30 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Port Washington. Burial with full military honors will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation at the CHURCH Saturday from 10 AM until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Lung Association appreciated. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington is assisting the family.
