Marilyn Dorothy Bors

Marilyn D. Bors, age 76 years of Belgium ,formerly of Milwaukee, passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday, December 13, 2012, at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. Marilyn was born in Milwaukee on October 6, 1936, daughter of Edwin and Clara Liebnitz Schlicke. On October 22, 1955, she married Carl Driebel in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in 1983. On April 4, 1992, she married James Bors at Wellington Park Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. The couple made their home in Belgium. Marilyn was an active member of First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove. She loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. Her other hobbies included baking, reading, and doing needlepoint. Marilyn is survived by her husband Jim of Belgium, five children, Michael (Sandy) Driebel of Saukville, Robert (Daun) Driebel of Juneau, Donald (Cindy) Driebel of Jackson, Nancy (Kevin) Niebauer of Belgium, and James (Julie) Driebel of New Berlin. She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Carl Driebel and her brother Richard Schlicke. Funeral services on Monday, December 17, 6 pm at First Reformed Church, Cedar Grove. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park, Milwaukee. Visitation at the CHURCH Monday from 4-6 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to charity of choice appreciated. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Belgium, is assisting the family with arrangements.
