Brenda Burk

Brenda Marie Burk, age 69 peacefully passed away on Monday December 24, 2012 at the Taylor House in Des Moines Iowa. She was born on June 8, 1943 in Bussey, Iowa to Hubert and Hazel (Green) Burk. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi. She enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with her family. Surviving are son Bryan Burk and Grandson Curtis Burk of Des Moines, Brother Bud (Pat) Burk of Bussey and two nieces, Kim (Roger) Zellmer of Bussey, Lynn (Jeff) Gardner of Altoona. She is preceded in death by her parents Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday December 29, 2012 at the Bussey United Methodist Church in Bussey Iowa with Rev. Raymond Doser officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012, opening to the public at 2:00 pm and family present from 6-8 pm Friday evening at the Sinnott Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lovilia.
