Catherine R. Kubik

Catherine R. Kubik, age 91, of Ambler, died Saturday, December 29, 2012 in the Manor Care Montgomeryville, PA. Born in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Concetta ( nee DeLalla) Fratangelo. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years Paul P. Kubik in 2009. She met Paul while vacationing at a resort in the Catskills, NY. Paul served in the Navy. Once the war was over, they married on August 3, 1947 and honeymooned in Niagara Falls, ON. Prior to becoming a mother, she worked as an account manager for Eggers & Higgins Architects in Manhattan. When she relocated to Philadelphia area after she married, she was employed by a local advertising agency. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Alphonsus Church in Maple Glen. Catherine is survived by her devoted daughter Catherine Kubik- Kratz , of Lower Gwynedd, her companion, Robert C. Hoff, Jr. of North Wales, and the loving grandmother of Stephanie Leigh Kratz, of Lower Gwynedd. Family and friends were invited Thursday, January 3, 2013 after 10:00 AM to St. Alphonsus Church, Maple Glen. A Funeral Mass was held at 11:00 AM with Rev. Quan M. Trihn as celebrant.
