Carl August Stiller, 81, Suamico, died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at a local hospital. He was born September 5, 1931 to the late Oswald and Naomi (Grosse) Stiller in Green Bay. Carl married Marianne Lotzer in May of 1959 in Waukegan, Illinois. Though divorced, they remained good friends. Carl was an avid duck hunter and fisherman, spending many years fishing on Thunder Lake. In addition to his love of the outdoors, he adored the companionship of our four-legged friends. With a degree as an electrical engineer, he spent many hours as a Ham radio operator in the early days and this led to his love of computers. Carl also had a fascination with going fast, whether racing stock cars or driving motorcycles. After college, Carl first went to work for Kimberly Clark, but quickly moved to Wisconsin Fabricating Company as an owner until retiring in1996, where he remained on as a consultant for several years. Survivors include one son, Kevin (Ellen) Stiller, Little Suamico; one daughter, Tami Stiller and Larry Jacobsen, Menasha; Marianne Stiller; and his sister, Marian Anderson. Visitation will take place from 3 to 6 pm Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, where the funeral service will take place at 6 pm with Ann Froelich officiating. Burial will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be given to Northeast Wisconsin Land Trust in Carl's name.
