Ronald W. Kopf DAVENPORT, Iowa--Ronald Wayne Kopf, 66, of Muscatine made his journey to Heaven following complications from surgery surrounded by his loving family at Genesis East Hospital in Davenport, Iowa on Friday, January 4, 2013, at 11:12 p.m. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Pastor Gary MacManus of Grace Lutheran and Pastor Jamie Oehme of Vineyard Church will be officiating. Burial will take place in Eliza Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at the funeral home. In Ronnie's memory, the family would like to request all his friends and family to dress casually in their favorite blue jeans. A memorial has been established at the funeral home in Ronnie's name. Ronald Wayne Kopf was born on February 11, 1946, in Muscatine, the son of Richard and Verna Hintermeister Kopf. On August 20, 1966, Ronnie was united in marriage to Connie Lee McKeown at Grace Lutheran Church in Muscatine. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Moose Lodge, Farm Bureau and Harbor Freight. He enjoyed watching Andy Griffith movies, fixing things, working on cars and tractors, going to Harbor Freight, attending farm auctions, farming, John Deere and Oliver tractors, CASE backhoes, Gold Wings, chocolate stars, his weekly lottery tickets, baling hay, raising corn and soy beans, driving semis and most of all he loved his family and farm. Ronnie will be deeply missed by his wife, Connie Kopf of Muscatine; his daughters, Lori Sue Naber of Muscatine, and Janell Lee Johnson and husband, Richard, of Lake Zurich, Illinois; four grandchildren, Matthew Lee Naber of Bigfork, Montana, Ian Blaise Naber and wife, Muffin, of Ames, Bryce Wayne and Jaiden Rose Johnson of Lake Zurich, Illinois; brothers, Gary Kopf and wife, Mary Ann, of Muscatine, Jimmy Kopf and wife, Sue, of Brooklet, Georgia, Mark Kopf and wife, Melodi, of West Liberty, and Richie Kopf and wife, Christie, of Eldridge; sisters, Regina Noll and husband, Ron, of Buffalo, Kristy Bacon of Chicago, and Shelly Sours of Muscatine; a brother-in-law, Ron G. Lange of Muscatine; sisters-in-law, Karen Courtois and husband, Dave, of Muscatine, and Melissa Coulter and husband, Chuck, of Joy, Illinois; a brother-in-law, Stan McKeown and wife, Amy, of Capac, Michigan; his lil "farm buddy" his great nephew, who shared the same birth date of February 11th, "Lil" Jake Niles; and several cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Ronnie was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents; one sister, Judy Lange; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lewis "Mac" and Clara "Dolly" McKeown.
