erson of Blairsburg; she was also a loving great-aunt to Owen and Evan Patterson of Blairsburg and Shiloh, Jordan and Colten Betts of Des Moines. She also leaves behind her loyal canine companion, Maggie, who she was separated from for several months due to her illness. Her parents preceded her in death. Pam will be deeply missed by her family. She not only had an unbelievably close bond with her brother, Pam was the best aunt anyone could ever ask for, always there to support her family. The memories of her sharp wit, kind heart and generous spirit will be cherished forever. We are comforted by the knowledge of the joyful reunion in Heaven with her parents and her many beloved dogs. Pam now has the best seat in the house to cheer on her Hawkeyes. The family would like to thank Pam's dear friends for the care they have shown her over the past few months, especially Susan, Marilyn, Rolanda, Donna, Connie, Judy and Jo and her coworkers at the Sheriff's Department. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials to Pam be directed to Animal Lifeline, a no-kill animal shelter where she rescued Maggie.
