Arthur K. Bunn MUSCATINE, Iowa--Arthur K. Bunn, 88, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Lutheran Homes. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 21, 2013, at the Mulford Evangelical Free Church. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. Following the interment a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Church. Visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. on Monday, January 21, 2013, at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Mulford Evangelical Free Church of Muscatine in Arthur's name. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Arthur was born on June 25, 1924, in Letts, the son of William and Elvira Keener Bunn. On November 23, 1941, he married Naomi M. Schlichting, who survives him. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a butcher at Trout's Grocery Store, and then worked in a lab with his brother Hugh at Grain Processing for many years. He served as alderman for the Fourth Ward and then the First Ward in the early sixties. He was a life-long, die-hard Cubs fan. He was a member of Mulford Evangelical Free Church. urvivors include a daughter, Janet Bunn of Muscatine; granddaughter, Misty Olson and husband, Russell, of Buffalo, Minnesota; a daughter-in-law, Sallie Bunn of Muscatine; granddaughter, Lara Bunn of Muscatine; great-grandsons, Tyler and Jackson Upham of Buffalo, Minnesota; Shirley and Leland Bucknell, Kim Bucknell, LeAnn Bucknell, and Kristi Bucknell, all of Charles City; three sisters, Catherine Gordon, Winnie Carpenter, Pat VanAcker, all of Muscatine; two brothers, Jack Bunn of Muscatine, and Norman Bunn of Bettendorf; a sister-in-law, Hattie Neff of Muscatine; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Jerry Arthur Bunn and Charles Clarence Bunn; two brothers, Fred Bunn and John "Hugh" Bunn; and two sisters, Emma Burbank and Eva Titus.
