Eugene Combs

Eugene Combs, age 80, Franklin, OH; passed away on Thursday January 17, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. Eugene was born in Bonnyman, KY on October 7, 1932 to Walter and Cordelia Combs. He retired from Air Products and Chemicals in 1995 as a truck driver, was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Air Force, was a member of Russell McElresh Post #149 of the American Legion, VFW Post, and the Franklin Eagles. He was preceded in death by his parents and his mother and father-n-law Oren and Edna Cochran. Eugene is survived by his wife of 60 years Anna Mae (Cochran) Combs; children Pamela Rice and husband Jerry, Sheila Combs, Christopher Combs and wife Jennifer; grandchildren Steve Combs, Tobi Rice, Rachel Rice, Annie Combs Cole, and Sarah Cole, Amanda Combs, Cary Shotwell, Sarah Combs, Seth Combs and fiancé Kendra; great grandchildren Gabby, Raiden, Andrew, Daegan, Bobby, and Betty; a sister Irene Baker and husband Kenny; his dogs Dixie and Little Bit, a special friend Aaron Casson; and numerous friends and family.
