Marianne "Marne" S. Trudeau, 65, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at St. Lukes Hospital in Milwaukee as a result of severe lung injuries. Heaven received a new angel at 3:58pm on Friday, January 18, 2013, when Marne made her trip into the arms of her Lord and loving family in Heaven. Marne was born May 13, 1947 to the late Margee (Laundre) and Clifford Peot in Green Bay. She grew up on the west side of Green Bay and attended Annunciation Grade School, West High School and graduated from Southwest High School with its first graduating class in 1965. Marne and Clyde Trudeau were married December 14, 1968 at Nativity Parish. A wonderful, loving daughter, Melannie was Marne's lifelong friend and traveling companion. Marne was the person that planned and hosted many family holiday and special occasion gatherings. Those special occasions included fund raisers for Melannie's schools and festivities, many Packer tailgate parties for Clyde's business associates, friends and neighbors. made simpler with her good friend, "The Nook". She enjoyed traveling on the many warm weather winter vacation trips she and Clyde made. Marne particularly cherished the European trip with Melannie and she always looked forward to the many Kentucky Derby trips. Marne was very proud of her home and yard with beautiful flower gardens and home decorations, especially during the Christmas season. For many years Marne looked forward to her bowling night with Darla and the Zich girls. Golf became a passion for hers, enjoying the many rounds of golf at Oneida Golf and Country Club and also the golf courses at Innsbrook Golf and Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida. She was the life of many parties. Marne was passionate about her upcoming 5-year anniversary as a breast cancer survivor and participated in many breast cancer awareness events. Before her recent retirement she enjoyed her 17-year association as a customer representative at North Shore bank. Marne will be dearly missed by her family and many diverse groups of friends and neighbors. Survivors include her loving daughter, Melannie and best friend Clyde, sisters; Julie (Mike) Novitski, Beth (Rick) LaMal; nieces and nephews, Stephannie Novitski, Ryan (Mackenzie) Novitski and daughter Asa, Erin (Adam) Slota and sons Anthony and Jordann, Leanne Delsart, Brent LaMal, Josh (Renae) Diedrich and daughter Caris, Jodi Sam and children Andrew and Kaitlyn; Brother-in-law Michael (Kathi) Trudeau and daughter Nicole. Melannie's godfather, Bill (Lois) Trudeau; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cliff and Margee Peot, In-laws Leonard and Rose Trudeau, sister-in-law Judi Diedrich, good friend Judy Zich and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 4pm to 8pm at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave with a Wake Service at 7:30 pm. Visitation will continue Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida Street from 10am to 11am. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am with Rev. Jim Hablewitz officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com. A memorial fund has been established in Marne's name. A special Thank You to the staff at Aurora Baycare Hospital in Green Bay and St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee, especially Dr. Barth, Desiree, Kirsten and Jim for their kindness in Marne's final days. To all who knew her, memories of Marne will be their treasure.
