Darlene Joy Caquelin

Darlene Caquelin, 80, of Webster City, died Monday, January 21, 2013 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Webster City. A Gathering will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Foster Chapel with a sharing time at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Darlene Joy Burnett, daughter of Ross and Eva Claude Burnett, was born January 3, 1933 at Webster City. She received her education in the Webster City school system, graduating from Lincoln High. On November 14, 1953, she married Gerald Dwayne Caquelin at the Church of Christ in Webster City. The couple resided in Webster City, than they farmed east of Woolstock for a short time before returning to Webster City. She worked as secretary for the Eagle Grove School District, secretary for Hamilton County Public Health and was a sales clerk at Dollar General in Webster City until her retirement in 2005.
