Fred Botner, Jr; 90, of Hialeah, Florida passed away at his home on Sunday, January 27, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 26, 1922, son of Fred and Corinne (Pierson) Botner. Fred served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a career educator.
Survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Marilyn (Atkins) Botner, their children, Cynthia Deal, Joel (Barbara) Botner and Todd (Hiselgis) Botner. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, James Botner.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Garden Home, 6301 Taft Street Hollywood. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Fred will be buried with full military honors on Wednesday, January 30th at 1:15 P.M. at South Florida Veterans Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida.
