Alice Marie McEwan

Alice Marie McEwan was born March 11, 1942, near Curtis, Nebraska, the daughter of Lynn and Margaret (Linnemeyer) Nutt. She attended Curtis Community Schools. Alice was united in marriage to Don McEwan at the First United Methodist Church in Emmetsburg. The couple farmed near Emmetsburg. Alice enjoyed going to antique and garage sales. She was always fond of the outdoors - watching wildlife, fishing with the boys', raising pheasants and gardening were favorite pastimes. Alice also spent many hours quilting and reading. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On Wednesday, April 27, 2011, Alice passed away at the North Iowa Health Center in Mason City, Iowa.
