Bruce T. Plucker

Bruce Terry Plucker was born October 9, 1953, in Sac City, Iowa, the son of Weldon and Charlene (Schuett) Plucker. He attended school in Wall Lake, Iowa. Bruce used to work as a millwright. He was employed with the Bratney Company of Des Moines for 25 years, and most recently, worked for L and M Ethanol Maintenance Contracting, Inc. of Fort Dodge, IA. Bruce married Candy Gardner in 1999, and the couple divorced in 2009. Bruce was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Ayrshire. He loved riding horses and Harley's. Bruce was always fond of wildlife, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the great outdoors. He craved chocolate chip cookies and ice cream, but his children are what made him complete. On Thursday, July 14, 2011, Bruce passed away unexpectedly in a motor vehicle accident. Left to cherish his memory are his son and daughter: Wyatt and Charlene "Charlie" Gardner- Plucker both of Spirit Lake; two brothers: Mark Plucker and wife, Katie of Terril, IA and Dan Plucker of Ayrshire, IA; and a sister, Jill Lorenzen of Sioux City, IA; and the mother of his children, Candy Gardner.
