Roman D. Heinrichs

Roman Dale Heinrichs, the son of Roman and Erma "Jean" (Jarnigan) Heinrichs was born July 2, 1957 in Spencer, Iowa. He spent his childhood years in Spencer, graduating from Spencer High School in 1975. Roman resided in Spencer, where he worked at SuperValu for 28 years. After the store's closing, Roman worked at The Daily Reporter. Roman enjoyed spending time with friends and family, golfing, drumming, listening to music, watching NFL football; always choosing a new "team", and playing board games; scrabble was his favorite. He had a great sense of humor and always a big smile to go with it. On Friday, April 20, 2012, Roman passed away at the age of 54 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father. Left to cherish Roman's memory are his daughter, Sarah Heinrichs of Spirit Lake; his mother, Jean Heinrichs of Spencer; sister, Cinda Heinrichs (Lynn Galbraith) of Dickens; two brothers: Dan (Susan) Heinrichs of Denver, CO and Terry (Jacqueline) Heinrichs of Spencer; niece, Molly; three nephews: Karl, Jeremiah and Zac; a special friend, Lori Erickson; a special caregiving friend, Don Conlon; as well as many other loved frien...[more]
