Randolph Samuel Valenza

Valenza, (Randy) Randolph Samuel, age 90, of Dania Beach, FL, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013. Randy was born March 2, 1922 in Grove City, PA, to parents Marion Valenza and Grace Mangellina Valenza. An Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Marie Elizabeth Faltro Valenza, of Dania Beach; brother, Samuel Valenza, of Moorpark, CA; nieces: Joan (David) Antico of Pittsburgh, PA; Grace (Darrell) Corn of Winter Springs, FL; Janmarie Hornack of Kansas City, KS; Nance (Eliezer) Arce of Margate, FL; and many other nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews. Randy is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Josephine Gaitaniella and Sarafina Valenza; brothers: Bennie, Orland, Mike, Frank, and Jimmy Valenza. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, February 17, from 4-7pm, with a prayer service (rosary). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 18, at 11am at Little Flower Catholic Church, 1805 Pierce Street, Hollywood, FL 33020. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Flower Catholic Church. Interment with military honors will take place at a later date at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery. [more]
