ALICE MOLINA MUSCATINE, Iowa - Alice Molina, 56, of Muscatine, died on Friday, February 15, 2013, at her home. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend David McIntosh, of Hillcrest Baptist Church, will officiate. Honorary bearers will be Luke Sanders and Steven Ramos. Casket bearers will be Rick Bierman Jr., Joshua Bierman, Jason Bierman, Robert Hotchkiss Jr., Ray Sotelo Jr. and Rosendo Ramos Jr. Burial will take place in Island Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Jose Molina Sr. The family would like to give special thanks to Brenda Allison, Sara Sanders, Jamie Werling and Pastor Harold Schutte, of Iowa Hospice for their loving care of Alice. Alice was born on May 26, 1956, in Muscatine, the daughter of Harold and Shirley Gerels Brown. She married Jose Molina Sr. on January 3, 1974, in Muscatine. ft to honor her memory include her husband, Jose Molina Sr. of Muscatine; one son, Jose "Pepe" Molina Jr. of Bettendorf; Keffany Molina, whom she thought of as her daughter; and three grandchildren, Vandra, Sequoia, and Anmiara Molina, all of Atalissa; seven brothers, Larry Bierman and wife, Cheryl, of Colorado, Randy Bierman and wife, Caroline, of Oklahoma, Jack Bierman and wife, Linda, of Muscatine, Virgil Bierman and wife, Dawn, of Muscatine, Rick Bierman and wife, Rhonda, of Muscatine, Rodney Bierman and wife, Tonya, of Muscatine, and Marty Brown of Muscatine; three sisters, Barbara Marshall of Muscatine, Nancy Hotchkiss of Muscatine, and Anna DeLeon and husband, Emmanual, of Muscatine; and several nieces and nephews. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Virgil Bierman; and three sisters, Patty Ann Sotelo, Karen Ramos, and Betsey Bierman.
