Rose Christine Crone BURLINGTON, Iowa -- Rose Christine Crone, 82, of Burlington, died on Friday, February 15, 2013, at GRMC Klein Center, Burlington. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the Lunning Chapel. The Rev. Morris Hurd will officiate services. There will be a time for food and fellowship following the funeral until 1 p.m. at West Hill United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the Keokuk National Cemetery, Keokuk. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until 8 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2013 with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established for Alzheimer's Research and Breast Cancer Awareness. Rose was born on October 6, 1930, in Cantril, the daughter of Harley J. and Irene Katherine Smith Bloomquist. On March 4, 1961, she married Al Crone in Oquawka, Illinois. He preceded her in death on October 29, 1997. Rose attended West Hill United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed being a part of the Ladies Circle. She cherished the time she spent with family. Survivors include five children, Bruce Hartman and wife, Gayle, Rick Hartman, Wayne Hartman, Alfred Crone and wife, Tonya, all of Burlington, and Marshele Crone Robison and husband, Kerry, of Powderly, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and one brother, Jim Bloomquist of Conesville. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, James Harley Hartman; and two grandsons, Wayne Hartman Jr. and Roy Allen Hartman.
